What’s Included with Lantern & Larks Tents?

Each tent accommodates up to six people, with three bedrooms: one king-size room, one twin room, and one bunk bed room. Travel cots can be added to any bedroom (available for hire).

Each tent includes:
  • Gas-powered shower and WC
  • Log-burning stove and double gas hob
  • Beds made up on arrival, plus towels
  • Fully equipped kitchen area
  • Sleeps up to 6 in comfort
  • Tranquillity and exclusivity
Meat smoking as it is cooked on a barbecue.

Optional Extras:
Fire Pit/BBQ/Wood
Fire pits are included with every booking, ideal for BBQs. Unlimited wood is provided for the duration of your stay. Please note, fires are only permitted in the fire pits. Each tent also has a log burner for heating and cooking.

Sweffling White Horse

Sweffling White Horse is an award-winning community pub that serves locally brewed ales and ciders, along with locally made spirits. Their pies, straight from the Aga, are worth the journey alone and there is a selection of traditional pub games.

This seaside town is home to an award-winning new pier, complete with unique water clock and unusual amusements. Southwold also has the world-famous Amber Shop and Swan Hotel, the Adnams brewery and several of their pubs.

Aldeburgh (10 miles)

Including Moot Hall museum, the historic seafront and Crag Path, the lifeboat and modern lifeboat shed, a Martello tower (Landmark Trust), a golf course, the Aldeburgh Carnival and excellent fish and chip shops.

Saxmundham (3.1 miles)

Saxmundham is at the centre of Suffolk’s Heritage Coast region and is ideally located for visiting the many attractions in the area. It is well served for banks and shops, with a small Waitrose and a market every Wednesday.

Framlingham (4.6 miles)

‘Fram’ hosts markets on Saturday and Tuesday with local produce, trinkets and collectibles at Market Hill. There are shops for gifts, food, fashions and antiques, plus cafés, tea shops, pubs and restaurants.

Framlingham Castle

Once home to Mary Tudor, Framlingham Castle hosts music and theatre events in its grounds. Nearby is the Mere, popular with walkers and dogs, and Shawsgate Vineyard for award-winning wines.

Dunwich Heath

A remnant of the Sandlings Heaths and a key conservation area. There are way-marked walks and access to the RSPB’s Minsmere reserve, plus an observation room in converted Coastguard Cottages.
